Research Technician (f/m/d) Chair for Gender Medicine 80-100%

The Chair for Gender Medicine is recruiting a RESEARCH TECHNICIAN. Among other topics, we investigate the molecular mechanisms of cardiac health and disease, emphasizing gender differences. Our research focuses on physiological and pathological cardiac growth, heart failure, regeneration, and exercise-induced cardiac remodeling. We utilize advanced models such as human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), primary cardiomyocyte cultures, and animal (rodent) models. By uncovering the fundamental mechanisms of cardiovascular pathophysiology and their gender-specific aspects, we aim to develop innovative therapeutic strategies for heart disease that consider sex and related factors. We are looking for a competent, team-oriented research technician to support our work.
