Commission Sex and Gender in Medicine

The faculty commission has been advancing the application of sex- and gender-sensitive perspectives in research, teaching, and clinical practice at UZH since its founding in 2018. 

The committee consists of members from the Medical Faculty and other related faculties, representatives from the various medical disciplines and, and the medical fields, as well as members from different career stages, including students.

From July 2025 to June 2027, the commission will be on pause. During this period, exchange on gender medicine–related topics will take place within an interdisciplinary working group. The next meeting of the working group will be held on Monday, 13 July 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., via Microsoft Teams.
